About Us

STC Training Solutions was founded in 2019 by Innes & Charlotte Eaton, initially as a first aid training provider, but quickly went on to deliver a range of Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (FREC) courses. During that time STC has also produced some great quality CPD content which is available free of charge on this website.


At the end of 2022, we made the decision to scale back the business as it was at the point of needing one of us to commit full time - our careers are important to us and STC was never created with the intention of being our main employment, so this simply wasn't an option. Delivering the best quality training is our passion - this was something that we felt would only be possible if we kept to a smaller scale.


So where does that leave STC now? In 2023 we continue to offer corporate FREC courses to new and existing customers - unfortunately we are not offering any public courses at present, although will review this decision again at the end of this year. We also continue to be busy with our 1:1 healthcare professional BLS refreshers and similar courses and continue to offer a range of workplace first aid training.

Innes Eaton DipHE MCPara

Managing Director & Centre Principal

Innes has had a varied career to date, starting within the commercial aviation industry, he joined London Ambulance Service in 2014, initially as an Emergency Medical Technician before training to become a Paramedic.


Currently working as a Specialist Paramedic at a GP surgery near London, Innes continues to hold bank contracts with two local NHS Ambulance Trusts and regularly works front line shifts.


"My vision for the business is to be able to deliver the most immersive training possible to really prepare students for what they will face in the real world - training with us will always be so much more than just passing an exam."


Fun Facts: Innes also holds a Commercial Pilot's Licence and is a qualified electrician!

Perfect weekend: Camping in the New Forest with a day out sailing on the Solent.

Charlotte Hanney BSc MSc MRCP

Training & Compliance Director

Charlotte initially studied child psychology before switching over to healthcare. Having worked for NHS 111 and the Ambulance Service for a number of years, Charlotte retrained as a Physician Associate and now works in a busy London A&E.


Charlotte oversees the development of our new courses and ensures that our high standards are maintained throughout the business.

Suzanne Hanney

Administrative Manager

Suzanne is the real unseen hero of the business - managing the mountain of weekly administrative tasks that need to be undertaken!


Suzanne works as a senior manager within the rail industry and has also previously worked within the NHS.


The eagle eyed amongst you may also be able to spot Suzanne in some of our casualty simulations!

Jacki Topiol

Marketing Manager

Jacki is responsible for planning our marketing and online presence - the things that really make or break a business!


Jacki is also a Paramedic, successful writer and cognac expert!

Mark Bowers

HR Manager

Mark's role oversees our recruitment and retention process and ensures that the business meets all of its legal obligations in this complex area.


Mark has previously worked as an HR Director for a large multinational and continues to work as a consultant.
